After successfully graduating from the Faculty of Education at the Bosphorus University in Istanbul,
she finished the Business Management Program at the same university.
In the private sector she has worked in the field of international trade and customer service. Furthermore, she taught English at several educational levels,
in different institutions and at the same time she taught Turkish for foreigners. Concerning the foreign oriented education and consultancy, she is currently
active with the education of Dutch language and integration into the Netherlands. |

Bilim Civan
Human Resource Manager / Quality Auditor
After receiving the title of Chemical Engineer, by graduating successfully from Istanbul Technical University,
she finished the Modern Management Techniques Program at the Marmara University.
Her professional career started in the PVC-production, in which she functioned as a quality engineer. Bilim Civan has worked
in divergent sectors, in Human Resources (HR) and as a quality auditing manager. Her tasks, among others, were: creating quality and personnel systems, certification
and internal auditing. Furthermore, she dealt with the quality processes of restructuring/reorganizing companies, revising and creating company processes and
descriptions, realization of competency analysis, creating a structure in work experience and payment, implementing analysis of training needs,
organizing classes and the installation of an operation- and assessment system. She organizes and gives training to companies, concerning specific quality awareness,

Management Consultant
After graduating from the Faculty of Business Administration at Istanbul University, she has worked in different functions for several banks and leasing companies,
working as a financial analyst, credit analyst, credit manager, marketing manager and as a general director. Currently she is doing work as a consultant.
Her job requires her to deal with many things, such as ERP- projects, current situational analyses, financial analyses, budget planning, reorganization of companies,
analysis and enhancement of company processes with the total quality concept, further the identification of authority and responsibility, the identification and
improvement of job descriptions and processes, professionalizing family companies and creating self confidence and trust, and analyzing the need for training in

Project Manager
Altan Robinson was born in the Netherlands and studied
International Communication at Hanze University for Applied Sciences in Groningen, The Netherlands. In 2008/2009 he
went as an Erasmus exchange student to study at the Public Relation/Journalism department at the private Yeditepe
University in Istanbul. He speaks fluently, Dutch, English, Turkish and German. At Wildenberg
Dutch Cultural Centre he is a project manager for international projects. |

Şerife Biçen Educational Consultant
Şerife Biçen was born in the Netherlands, and after she graduated from Management, Economics and Law at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences.
She speaks fluently Dutch, Turkish and English. She worked as a consultant in various fields.
She has years of experience in the Netherlands as a teacher Dutch for foreigners and preparation the the integration tests.
At Wildenberg Dutch Cultural Centre her work involves the area of Dutch language education,
integration into the Netherlands and Turkish language education for foreigners. |

Filiz Ömeroğlu was born in İstanbul. She graduated from Communication at the InHolland University in Rotterdam.
In 2007/2008 she went as an Erasmus exchange student to study at the Advertising Design and Communication department
at the private Yeditepe University in Istanbul. She speaks fluently, Dutch, English and Turkish.

Jan Dirk Hogendoorn Educational Consultant
Jan Dirk Hogendoorn finished his Master International Business at Tilburg University and worked in the Netherlands,
among others, as an Economics teacher at college and high school level. The last years he has been working
as an ICT project controller. He is fluent in Dutch and English and speaks moderate German, French and Turkish.
He teaches advanced Dutch at Wildenberg Dutch Cultural Centre and is involved in (government) grant requests and grant writing. |

Elif Özgültekin was born in the Netherlands. She is graduated from Pedagogies at HAN University.
She speaks fluently Dutch, Turkish and English and moderate German. She worked as a teacher in

of Dutch language education to adults and children, integration into the Netherlands and Turkish

Slawomira Kozieniec Educational Consultant
Slawomira Kozieniec comes originally from Poland. She was 17 years long a professional actress.
She studied at the Theater Academy in Krokow and worked in Gdansk at Theater Wybrzeze.
Besides of that she worked at the radio, played rolls in films and for TV.
She won the price for the best young actress in Poland and the highest price for the best roll.
In Gdynia she was five years a teacher at the theater school.
Besides of Polish she speaks fluently English, Dutch and Russian.
She has been living in Istanbul since the summer of 2006. She studied Turkish here in Istanbul as her 6th language. |

Arjen Zwart
Freelance Photographer
Arjen Zwart is specialized in documentary- and conceptual photography. Besides his personal projects,
he is working for newspapers, magazines and NGO's. Arjen's photo works have been exhibited in Europe and Turkey.
In 1986 Arjen visited Istanbul for the first time. He was deeply impressed by it's history and people.
But it was until 2001 that he returned to Istanbul. There he encountered a Roma family which inspired
him to start a photo project covering the lives of the family during a time span of 15 years.
Besides this project he started to explore the city extensively. Going by feet in Istanbul,
he discovered many hidden gems which are not mentioned in any travel guide.
In 2008 he married a Turkish women and decided to live and work in Istanbul. |

Bernard Robinson
International Communication Consultant
Bernard Robinson, born in the north of England, Middlesbrough has an Irish mother and an English father.
He studied for a law degree at University College London followed by postgraduate studies in Amsterdam
and then a master of law degree (LL.M) from California University, Berkeley, signed by Ronald Reagan himself
who was then governor of California! Bernard lives in Holland since 1970 and worked for
many years in different forms of residential adult education, including prison.
Bernard co-founded a successful residential school in Holland called Orient Express which was an
education aimed at working in the field of tourism between Holland and Turkey.
Between 2000 and 2010, unto his retirement last year, he worked as
lecturer in tourism management at Stenden University in Leeuwarden. Bernard followed the first Turkish language
course at Wildenberg and found it both useful and enjoyable. Bernard gained some insight into the people and
programs of Wildenberg which has impressed him with its success, its professionalism, its dedication, its
potential and its human quality. Bernard is happy to play whatever role he can as a consultant in helping
Wildenberg achieve its aims as a cultural educative centre in between Holland and Turkey.
His other role in Turkey is as English language editor of the International Journal of Biology of Istanbul University.
Apart from his family, including the children and grandchildren, his main passions are poetry and painting in the
triangle Holland - Turkey - England. |

Eda Yenil
Sculptor and Art Teacher
Eda Yenil is born in 1983 in Aksaray, Turkey. In 1998 she moved with her family to the Netherlands and here she
finished her secondary school. In 2008 she finished her master at the Faculty of Laws at the
University of Amsterdam and in the same year she got her certificate
as a translator Turkish-Dutch under oath. In 2009 she started with making sculptures is a hobby. Afterwards she followed two years
long a sculpture course of the artist Marijke Verlaat. During this course her work was shown during the exposition “Fantasy Figures” in Bakkum
(The Netherlands). Since February 2011 she lives in Istanbul, works as a consultant, translator, and organizes sculptor courses. |

Henk de Jong
Fund Consultant
Henk de Jong was born in Vlaardingen the Netherlands, started his career as a professional soldier at the Royal Marines. After this he worked
for 32 years at the Criminal Investigation Department of Rotterdam-Rijnmond and the National Police Services Agency (Korps Landelijke Politie Diensten).
During this period Henk studied Turkish language and culture and Islam Sciences at the Volksuniversiteit of Leiden.
Henk followed various courses at the field of interrogation psychology and international law assistance.
He did a lot of research work abroad in drugs cases, terrorism and war crimes. For Wildenberg Dutch Cultural Centre
Henk works as a consultant. For Holland Festival Istanbul Henk is active as a coordinator/consultant government and funding. |

Leoni Şencan
Educational Consultant
Leoni Şencan is graduated as a teacher primary education at Edith Steijn University.
During her study time, she studied half a year in Braga, Portugal. Her she also gave English lessons to children at a primary school.
By this she experienced teaching abroad. From September 2010 till July 2011 she was working a full time
teacher in the Netherlands in
"groep 8" (class 6 / 6th grade). In July she is married with a Turkish husband and started to live in Istanbul.
Besides her work at the Oranjeschool she is also teacher at an international preschool. |

Kees Arendz
Educational Consultant
Kees Arendz is born in the Netherlands, studied nursing and hospital management, teaching in the nursing domain and healthcare aspect in the
process industries and administration. He was a teacher at several schools and Groningen University. Kees was coaching managers,
and was coaching long distance runners. In 2005 he moved to Istanbul, here he got the Celta-certificate "Teaching English Language".
In Istanbul he gave Dutch lessons to children, gave English lessons at private language schools and at the Naval War Academy.
In the time that Kees is in Istanbul, he consulted migrants and refugees in healthcare issues, and the last years he is coaching long distance runners.
At Wildenberg Dutch Cultural Centre Kees is active as an educational consultant in the field of Dutch language education. |

Seda Kömürcü Türkan
Educational Consultant
Seda Kömürcü Türkan is born in Rotterdam Holland, and here she finished her
professional education in social / juridical work. In Holland she was
involved with education of the Dutch language to foreigners. Since 2009 she lives in Istanbul and here she worked with children learning Dutch.
Seda is a native speaker of both Dutch and Turkish, and knows English at an advanced level.
At Wildenberg Dutch Culture Centre Seda is involved with Dutch language education, integration to the Netherlands and Dutch language teaching to children. |

Betül Üre was born in the Netherlands, she graduated from social work and service at university “Hogeschool van Amsterdam”.
After her study she moved to Turkey. She is working in the health insurance sector as provision expert. She speaks fluently Dutch, Turkish and English.

Zehra Saçan is born in the Netherlands and finished her education as teacher assistant in Nijmegen. After this she started with
her study psychology at Saxion University in Deventer. In the Netherlands she worked at various schools, she worked as
management assistant and at
the Tax and Customs Administration. In the Netherlands she gave Dutch language lessons to foreigners. She speaks Turkish and Dutch as her mother tongues,
